Job Posting:
The Accountant is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting department's operations. This position plays a key role in supervision of all regular accounting procedures such as journal entries and accounts payable plus month end closing, preparation of financial statements based on the Accounting Standards, provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, ensure compliance of tax requirements and Accounting procedures
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Coordinate local financial closings
- In charge of treasury function at Division level
- Responsible for providing information for external auditors
- Ensures compliance with State and Federal tax regulations
- Ensures accuracy of balance sheet for local company
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Certification is preferred
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management roles, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Resident in Yucatan preferred
