We encourage curiosity and critical thinking, we embrace wellbeing in its broadest sense, and we provide mentorship and inspiration at every step of your career journey.**What you will be doing**:**Primary Responsibilities**:- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations of the Monterrey business center- Lead monthly close process for consolidation of local results in accordance with U.S. GAAP- Provide insight and guidance for complex areas requiring accounting judgement (in collaboration with the México Group Controller and external service providers as necessary)- Review monthly provisional tax calculation and timely complete payment/refund process- Oversee reconciliation process of all material balance sheet accounts- Maintain strong internal control environment and suggest improvements for enhancement- Lead accounting team in timely execution of required SOX controls- Understand and maintain documentation of local to U.S. GAAP reconciling differences- Ensure that all compliance and fiscal obligations are met including electronic accounting as well as informative and statistical declarations- Prepare monthly and interim financial reporting- Coordinate completion of annual transfer pricing study with external service provider- Coordinate completion of annual external audit with external service provider- Coordinate completion of annual tax declaration with external service provider and ensure proper controls over the deductibility of expenses- Evaluate changes in law (LFT, LISR, LIVA) and evaluate the corresponding impact to the business and accounting implications- Evaluate changes in NIF (Normas de Información Financiera) and the impact to the local ledger- Understand key topics effecting calculation of weekly payroll and provide insight as required- Ensure segregation of duties and other business controls are maintained- Lead periodic balance sheet reviews and risk reviews- Assist and/or lead completion of special projects- Identify areas of opportunity for improvement and implement process for change management- Develop accounting team and provide necessary coaching including completion of skills matrices, individual coaching conversations, self-reflections, and annual goal setting- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff members- Lead strategic projects with business partners aimed at delivering the maximum strategic value and continuous improvement, which includes automation and digitization projects**Who you are**:- Leadership Skills - Strong planning, management, and critical thinking skills
