We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant with expertise in QuickBooks to join our team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong QuickBooks skills and a passion for finance to contribute to the success of our company.**Responsibilities**:- Utilize QuickBooks software to record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions accurately and efficiently.- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and collections.- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, such as general ledger entries, journal entries, and trial balances.- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and accruals.- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standards.- Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining organized financial records.- Assist with various ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role.- Strong proficiency in using QuickBooks software is essential.- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work well within a team.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.**Salary**: $15,000.00 - $30,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 37750, San Miguel de Allende, Gto.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Language**:- and write in English fluently?
