.At **Cazeta**, we are seeking an experienced **Accountant Supervisor** specializing in accounting functions for medium-to-large companies.
This role focuses on managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting operations for our U.S.Based clients.
This is a remote position based in one of our Cazeta offices in **Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico**, or **Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico**.
An **advanced level of English** is mandatory for effective communication with our international clients.
**Responsibilities**- Oversee and maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.- Manage **Accounts Receivable (A/R)**, including client invoicing, payment tracking, and resolving discrepancies or overdue accounts.- Handle **Accounts Payable (A/P)**, processing vendor invoices, scheduling payments, and maintaining positive supplier relationships.- Prepare and analyze **financial reports** such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as well as customized reports for stakeholders.- Collaborate with management to develop **annual budgets**, analyze financial data, and recommend budget adjustments or cost-saving opportunities.- Conduct **financial analyses** (e.G., variance and trend analysis) to assess the organization's financial health and support strategic decisions.- Monitor and evaluate key financial metrics to identify areas of strength and improvement.- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, accurately file tax returns, and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.- Support **long-term financial planning**, including revenue forecasting and strategies to achieve financial objectives.- Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree or higher in **Accounting**, **Finance**, or **Business Administration**:- **5+ years of experience** in accounting or financial roles, with at least **2 years in a supervisory capacity**.- Advanced proficiency in **English** (verbal and written).- Strong knowledge of **accounting principles**, **financial regulations**, and **tax compliance**.- Experience with U.S. based clients is a plus.- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** (Excel in particular); experience with accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) is a strong plus.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
