Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, Wabtec delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.MAIN ACTIVITIES- Support the business with the requirement documentation to the VAT refund process.- Connecting with other departments to get the information required to present to the Tax Authority (i.E Hacienda)- Elaborate reports that are necessary to present the information to the VAT refund process- Assist in the analysis of tax documents with accuracy- Review the received reports/information from the other departments to provide the final documents to PwC- Provide dashboards and summaries of the VAT refund process to the leadership- Primary finance support for ad-hoc tax audits/reviews within region (Indirect & Direct)- Collaborate with finance and business operations personnel to resolve any problems related to the lack of the documents to the VAT refund process- Execute the wing-to-wing data collection process for the VAT refund- Accounting experience- Assistance in financial audits**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's Degree in related field- Minimum of 5 years of related experience- Ability to work with external auditors and tax advisors- Ability to influence teams while working remotely and without direct authority- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS- Comprehensive knowledge of the country tax system including the local documentation and filing requirementsWabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world's toughest challenges.
