.As an Aftersales Artisan in Leather goods and costume Jewelry, you will contribute to the excellence of client service in the Boutique thanks to your expertise and passion for Care and Repair.Responsible, meticulous, and curious, your role will cover all aspects of repair management, from the initial assessment and completion of repairs to the monitoring of administrative tasks and partnership with the boutique.As part of this exciting new role, you will work to find repair solutions for both client and stock requests while contributing to spare part orders and inventory management.With 8 collections per year, each request requires assessment on a case-by-case basis. You will leverage your savoir-faire and product knowledge to provide the best solution.You will report to the Operations Manager who will guide you in your Care & Repair role and path.Key ResponsibilitiesInitial assessment of the Care and Repair case and provide accurate quotation.Check product authenticity and identify possible points of counterfeiting.Completion of technical repairs within the company standards and lead-times.Working precisely with attention to details.Mastery of hand and machine repairs.Performing quality checks on completed work.Registration of the claim in the system.Support of the ordering, inventory control, organization, and replenishment of spare parts.Consistent learning of new techniques and skills.Appetency for problem solving and organizational skills.Contribution to the collective performance of the team: share information and best practices, identify risks and alert if any, propose new ways of working, feedback needs for equipment and machinery.Understanding the basic health/safety and fire procedures in an atelier.Passing information onto boutique staff both verbally and in writing to explain the actions you have made on a repaired item.Develop and monitor aftersales suppliers.What are we looking for?We are looking for someone who is passionate about Leather goods and Costume Jewelry and has an eye for details.You have a strong understanding of materials such as lambskin and calfskin as well as tweed, jersey, and canvas, along with good knowledge of costume jewelry and restringing techniques.You know how to operate a sewing machine for leather repairs.You are careful and meticulous; you have developed a sensitivity to fashion items.Your dexterity will enable you to repair bags, small leather goods, and accessories (such as jewelry), while respecting the company's quality criteria and deadlines.You participate actively in team meetings to build on the teamwork ethic and the strong relationships we have with the boutique aftersales specialists.You take pride in your work and the reputation of Chanel.You show excellent planning, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Speaking French and/or English is a plus
