To meet this goal, we are continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through excellence performance.- Amazon is seeking an Operations or On The Road (OTR) Manager in Last Mile Execution, with four key areas that you'll always focus on: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your Operation.- This role requires working with multiple business and technical teams across the company to manage successful OTR performance, driving continuous improvement and enhancing carrier performance.
The candidate must be effective in influencing leadership across customer service operations, technology teams, multiple support teams, multiple carrier partners, and senior leadership.Key Job Responsibilities- You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Last Mile Operation, overseeing the On the Road (OTR) operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.- Supporting a team of Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the last mile operation, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, data analysis, metrics reviews, and communicating with DSPs including management representatives and their drivers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shiftsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
