.The Americas (AMS) Construction & Workplace Program Manager, will successfully delivery all of Aptiv's real estate capital projects in accordance with our requirements, cost, quality, and delivery timing. You will coordinate, oversee, and drive project planning, execution, and demobilization activities to ensure the orderly completion of project scope. You will play an instrumental role in the creation and implementation of standards and practices related to workplace strategy, project management, design, contracting, and cost controls.You will report directly to the Head of Real Estate Strategy, Transactions and Construction and be given autonomy to have a real business impact and develop global standards necessary for optimal delivery.**My Role**:- Oversee real estate and construction project activities from start to finish, including site acquisition, new construction, expansions, retrofits and decommissioning of real estate assets. Oversight of key facility delivery projects complying with schedule, cost and Aptiv requirements.- Establish process for projects controls, monitoring and reporting. Prepare budget analysis of both hard and soft project costs for regular reporting to key stakeholders.- Develop and manage program, budget, and change control in coordination with all internal project stakeholders. i.E. RE Construction PM, RE Transactions Managers, Business leads, IT PM, environmental H&S, procurement etc.- Oversee, authorize and track all facility related capital spend. Develop oversight of global cost and quality process, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the programs progress.- Engage, procure, and coordinate third party services such as design firms, architect, contractors, consultants, and other service providers.- Develop, implement & maintain standards and policies for Workplace Design.- Throughout the project life cycle, influence project execution to remain in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures: Financial, Safety/Environmental, Regulatory, and applicable Government regulations.Stay abreast of industry trends to improve efficiency and productivity. Benchmark and continually improve workplace strategy & capital delivery performance.**My Background**:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building / Quantity Surveying, Construction Management. PMP certification and understanding of Facility Management preferred.- **5+ years' experience in capital delivery and project management of complex Industrial projects, supporting: financial/budgeting/costing/project controls/forecasting.**:- **Understanding of manufacturing operations and track record of working in an international corporate environment
