In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the APQP Quality Leader, you as an APQP Quality Engineer will be responsible to adapt, monitor and maintain all the specifications required by our customers and standards such IATF 16949 to deliver a quality product.About the job- Identify and analyze quality problems and propose corrective actions- Starts and executes tracking quality procedures according to international standards (IATF 16949) and company policy- Implement improvements of product quality- Provide support Certification to IATF 16949 and requirements for VDA 6.3 and AIAG- Identify and communicate customer specific requirements to project team- Responsible for leading Quality metrics according to company and customer specific requirements (APQP, Phased PPAP)- Define the Project Quality Plan- Assure the timely validation of the product and process through regular product audit, process release and Manufacturing Process Audit- Assure adequate support to the customer and to the plant in case of engineering changes- Participate in project risk analysis (new technologies)- Actively participate in problem solving process- Location: Piedras Negras, CoahuilaAbout you:- Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic, Mechanic or Industrial Engineering.- At least 3 years of experience as Quality, Process Engineer or Project Engineer- Core Tools (CP, AMEF, PDF)- Troubleshooting Tools (8D, 5Why's, Ishikawa)- Statistical Tools knowledge (It is a plus).- Practical experience of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)- Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)- Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.- Background in Quality and previous Automotive industry experience advantageous- Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 combined with proven auditing experience to this standard ideal.Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
