**Overview**
The Production Manager reports to the Assembly Director and is responsible for coordinating the activities of the production staff/teams to meet schedule and product quality requirements adhering to the BRPMS Philosophy.
Ensures compliance with existing policies and procedures and initiates and manages improvement activities.
**Experience and Education**
- Finished Professional Career (preferred)
- 5 years of experience leading a production area
- Experience in the automotive industry
**Knowledge, Skills and Certifications**
- Ability to motivate and delegate authority to subordinate staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make decisions, computer skills.
- You must be familiar with lean manufacturing concepts including MRP, JIT system, ISO, SPC and SAP.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Show leadership and commitment to the QMS and customer focus, lead all assembly operations in the plant and coordinate the work of the production departments through familiarity with all assembly processes; ongoing knowledge of customer shipping requirements, business hours and quality levels; personnel necessary to comply with these schedules.
- Promote continuous improvement.
Responsible for the identification, implementation and verification of opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Performs plant inspections to ensure safe work practices through visual observations, memos, personal guidance and, if necessary, corrective actions.
- Responsible for the implementation and compliance with BRPMS standards.
- Establish, implement, maintain and improve the QMS.
Responsible for the overall quality of the assembled product.
- Provide all necessary resources to maintain and support the QMS.
Motivates and directs the training of all production personnel by monitoring the effectiveness of training and defining roles and responsibilities for all levels in the production assembly organization
- Acts as a liaison with managers and staff and effectively communicates relevant information to those who need to know it.
- Exhibits a leadership style that is consistent with the company's values and management philosophy.
- Jointly sets individual goals by analyzing and understanding everyone's job functions.
- Understand and lead HSE practices, which are applicable to job functions within the production assembly organization.
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
- Comply with the safety rules determined according to their function.
- Comply in time the planned training related to Quality and Training.
- Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
