In this role, you will be responsible for the industrialization and optimization of the assembly processes for seating systems in automotive or similar industries. If you have a strong background in assembly engineering and a passion for creating efficient and high-quality seating systems, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities: Lead the industrialization of assembly processes for seating systems, considering customer requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers, to develop efficient assembly methods and fixtures. Perform capacity analysis to determine production capacity and optimize process efficiency. Launch seating assembly lines. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve overall quality and productivity. Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate potential risks and quality issues in assembly processes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in assembly engineering, preferably with a focus on seating systems in the automotive or similar industries. Strong knowledge of seating assembly processes, including knowledge of tools, fixtures, and equipment. Experience in analyzing product designs for ease of assembly and manufacturability. Proficiency in performing capacity analysis and optimization. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong English level. Strong attention to detail and quality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) is preferred. Experience with CAD software, such as CATIA or SolidWorks, is a plus. Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations related to seating systems is desirable.
