The ideal person will exhibit strong leadership qualities and deep expertise in the B2B events & marketing domain.**Responsibilities**:- Lead the B2B Events Marketing team and own events strategy in alignment with the broader regional & global marketing teams and the local Sales organization- Event Management - End to End management of events e.G. Trade shows, Newgen Events, Industry events, Partner events.- Plan, create event marketing strategy and manage events, including coordination and execution of trade industry events and sponsorships.- Taking complete ownership of projects being undertaken for execution under events & activations- Experience & understanding of small & large format B2B events. Have worked or been part of creating IP's- Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programs.- Manage the day-to-day relationship and activities with external vendors and event partners.- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.- Negotiate agreements with vendors and sponsor contacts to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service.- Work closely with sales, PR & marketing team on sponsorship arrangements and key initiatives within the organisation.- Determine fiscal requirements and manage event budget including the collection of receipts and all surrounding documents.- Coordinate event environment (branding etc.) and manage the execution of events onsite.- Analyse event operations and prepare and implement recommendations for improving operational efficiencies within the events.- Troubleshoot and smooth issues related to the successful execution of the event program.- Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and external feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans.- Conduct research and identify new event opportunities for the company.- Source and manage promotional items for key marketing initiatives
