SimCorp Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) was strategically established, initially in 2016 in Warsaw, Poland, and subsequently extended to Manila, Philippines in 2021 and Mexico City in 2023. This purposeful expansion allows us to effectively cater for the clients across EMEA, APAC, and NA. Within the ADC, our Business Consultants collaborate closely with market units, focusing on business functionality and solution workflows. Their expertise ensures the customized configuration and seamless deployment of SimCorp Dimension for our valued customers.
Why this role is important to us
We are expanding the ADC Data & Communication team, which operates across Warsaw, Manila, and Mexico City. BI/Reporting Consultant is a highly skilled professional who is part of our Professional Services team, working within Consulting Services and based at the Advanced Delivery Center. The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert advice and functional delivery for the successful deployment of SimCorp Client Reporting products (CORIC) and services within a client's environment.
What you will be responsible for
- Act as a trusted Client advisor.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops in business and technical-related areas.
- Document client requirements and map to SimCorp functions, processes and data sources.
- Model data for reporting.
- Implement and test reporting solutions for key Clients from Investment Management sector.
- Design and build data presentation layouts and automation workflows.
- Test and optimize reporting process and tools to meet performance and data quality requirements.
- Identify areas of improvements and efficiencies where possible to maximize value creation for the Client.
- Leverage project experience to define the scope and estimate level of effort required for delivery.
- Demonstrate growth as a SME for the SimCorp products or technologies.
- Participate in company knowledge sharing culture, contribute to content creation.
- Develop SimCorp products configuration (data area).
- Collaborate according to the project framework including timelines, quality plans, progress reporting, risk and issue identification and communication.
What we value
- Min. 3-5 years of IT professional experience.
- Understanding of database concepts and data modeling for reporting.
- Experience with SQL databases (SQL queries, stored procedures).
- Experience with enterprise reporting/BI solutions (i.e., Crystal Reports, Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Feel comfortable with project work delivery (member of project teams organized as an agile or waterfall).
- Experience with business requirements gathering and clarification including direct work with business users.
- Good communication skills, you feel confident in client facing roles.
- Experience working in international/multicultural environment.
Your advantages
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Experience with T-SQL and general SQL Server database knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of financial instruments and markets or experience working with data/processes related to financial services.
- Prior experience with workflow automation solutions.

- Familiarity with cloud environments (preferred Snowflake, Azure).
- Understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Ability to coordinate small projects, workstreams or work groups as a leading consultant.
