This position will have responsibilities within the Business Planning team, which includes both Product Line analysis and Forecasting management activities. The Business Analyst position serves as a critical coordination role between multiple capabilities within the organization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, program management, procurement, operations, and finance to ensure that quoting inputs are delivered to meet internal and external customer deliverables
- Using company standardized work and templates, generate business case presentation materials for management review and approval
- Generate financial analyses in support of business decisions
- Support Product Line improvements initiatives through financial and operational performance data analysis and reporting Lead reviews and updates of customer Opportunity Management details within Campfire planning tool
- Using production-based operational data, Microsoft Power BI analysis tools and Campfire data, coordinate with other cross-functional team members to ensure that forecast data is updated
- Lead analysis of past model service, Last Time Buy (LTB) and end of life (EOL) data and coordinate with sales for external customer coordination and internal profitability and product flexibility optimization
- Perform quarterly and other established revenue validation activities
- Support sales organization with day-to-day business planning & forecasting activities
- Prepare customer documentation supporting commercial activities (cost break-down, customer specific forms)
- Assist in other special projects and business initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or Finance
- Knowledge / experience of automotive products and development
- Fluent oral / written skills in English (Spanish would be beneficial)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Familiarity with project management approaches and tools
- Strong analytic skills and common-sense logístical sense, and the ability to effectively work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and drive the business forward
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to travel to foreign countries, if required, as allowed
