The position of Business Development Manager (BDM), Assurance Solutions, main responsibilities include maintaining and expanding relationships with large customers, achieving sales targets, coordinating BSI's global engagement with customers, and promoting BSI's products and services within the BSI Assurance portfolio. The BDM is responsible for customer account planning, lead generation, building client relationships, delivering presentations and proposals, staying updated on market conditions, and negotiating and closing business deals. Additionally, the BDM is expected to provide thought leadership, support sales professionals, and participate in industry-related associations and conferences.
The qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, at least 8 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, and expertise in solution sales and business development. The desired skills include senior-level engagement, executive sales skills, customer service, proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office and Salesforce), active listening, persuasion, monitoring, reading comprehension, social perceptiveness, active learning, and influencing abilities.
