**Responsibilities**:
- Verify and place purchase orders for raw sheet metal, Outside Services, and customer-specific commodities.
- Utilize the ERP system, Epicor, to validate pricing and delivery per job requirements.
- Ensure that purchase orders are received by the job requirement date, working with suppliers to manage job pull-ins/push-outs, and late purchase orders
- Work with the Customer Project Manager to review customer projects and forecasts, and plan buys accordingly with commodity buyers
- Obtain quotations from suppliers, examine contracts, and negotiate cost reduction
**Skills**
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with an ERP/MRP system, such as Epicor, Oracle, or SAP
- Professional communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong analytical, numerical, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, "thinking outside the box" when necessary.
- Effective time-management skills to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate with other departments as needed
**Education/Experience Required**:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
- 2 years in a purchasing or supply chain management environment preferred
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry (preferred)
- **Must be bilingual in English**
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
Ability to Relocate:
- Guadalajara, Jal.: Relocate before starting work (required)
