What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- In this position, you will get to:_- Responsible to issue, maintain, expedite, and approve payment of purchase orders in plant Thermal for RWC/ Union City
- Responsible to develop supplier's OTD to a 95% performance level.
- Works with the suppliers to reduce overall raw material lead-time.
- In conjunction with the PFEP coordinator, ensures accurate inventory planning of raw materials.
- Works with management to maintain a MCOGS funnel and executes low to medium level MCGOS projects.
- Monitors and drives site inventory reduction initiatives.
- Responsible to meet the incoming freight AOP.
- Assists with plant scheduling and planning when required.
- Works on NPD teams to ensure material availability for new product launches.- You have:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field is an asset
- Proficiency in SAP (purchasing and material modules) is a must for this position
- Intimate knowledge PFEP and MMIF is a plus.
90% English proficiency
- Previous experience in an engineered-to-order business is preferred.
