What will you be doing? We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to serve as the crucial liaison between our Global HR Technology product management team and a group of highly technical engineers. In this role, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration between teams, translating product requirements into actionable engineering tasks while managing project timelines and deliverables. Your ability to navigate technical discussions and foster teamwork will be vital in driving projects to successful completion, ultimately enhancing our product offerings and user experience.
Job Responsibilities Facilitate communication between product managers and engineering teams to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements and priorities.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Lead project kick-off meetings, progress updates, and retrospectives to keep teams informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.Identify and mitigate project risks and roadblocks, providing solutions to ensure timely delivery.Monitor and report on project progress, providing updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary based on feedback and changes in scope.Collaborate with engineers to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable tasks, ensuring feasibility and alignment with product vision.Advocate for best practices in project management and agile methodologies within technical teams.Support the continuous improvement of processes by gathering feedback and implementing lessons learned from completed projects.Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certification is required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong technical understanding, with the ability to engage in discussions with engineers and comprehend complex technical concepts.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Trello, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Circana Behaviors As well as the technical skills, experience, and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization.
