.The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Associate may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.Responsibilities:Internal & External Review Management: Support reviews and examinations processes in a timely mannerAll applicable Internal Audit issues are managed according to policyKeep up ratingsIssue Management Performance: Ensure all applicable issues are registered and managed according to PolicySupport Business to meet OTR (On time remediation) commitmentOversight and follow up of all issues related to Markets MexicoPolicy Compliance Management: Supports Business to implement policies and guidelinesOversight and Time escalation on Governance and Management forumsRegulatory Compliance Management: Support Business so that RCM reflects regulations according to policySupport Business with implementation of regulatory Initiatives & ChangesOversight and follow up in all implementationsTimely escalationPartner with local and regional business management team to ensure alignment of business goalsManage a team by providing technical knowledge, coaching, evaluation, determining hiring etc.Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metricsRisk & Control: Advance control framework including executing Manager's Control Assessment testing, operational loss processes, and corrective actionsPrepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/or regular business meetingsSeek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requestsDrive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadershipProvide input into and recommend technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancementsSeek out and ensure corrective actions are implemented for control related issues and remedial action is takenCommunicate business knowledge, product knowledge, and requirements to business and internal support functionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
