Job Summary:
The Associate III independently operates high speed/large capacity automated equipment and completes a wide range of mail center functions and provides training and expertise to other employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for indexing incoming claims documents from various methods of receipt.
- Responsible for associating the correct document type and exposure associated for proper routing to the claim rep
- Responsible for recognizing documents for other departments and routing appropriately.
- Verifies document quality; quality checks include machine set-up, tap, test, print, and indicia verification
- Creates contingency plans and develops alternative solutions
- May manage data reports and process documents across departments
- Is responsible for all set-up processes and maintaining supply levels; identifies problems via troubleshooting and corrects problem or seeks assistance, as needed
- Performs and/or assists in converting machines for processing set-up, to include flat-to-fold or fold-to-flat, and paper size changes, as dictated by job

Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- 3 or more years of related experience

- Can establish standards, procedures, and benchmarks to minimize potential problems within functional area
- Possesses mastery of personal computing to include use of advanced commands; aware of the various expansion boards, monitors, graphics devices, emulator boards, modems, and printers available
