The individual should be able to work autonomously, but also enjoy working in a small legal team environment and must show a high level of pro-activeness, drive, self-sufficiency, common business sense, self- motivation, and thrive on the challenges that this role presents.**Responsibilities**:- Answering general legal enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders relating to privacy legislation across the region- Monitoring developments in privacy laws across the region and preparing briefing notes for internal stakeholders- Review of policies to support HireRight's privacy framework with particular focus on localisation.- Providing support on customer audit calls covering relevant privacy sections- Providing support to the Go to Market team on customer calls where privacy expertise is needed.- Review of privacy related contractual documents such as contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data and/or data processing agreements.- Production of privacy collateral to support the Go to Market team.- Partnership with the HireRight product team to review new products being developed across the region.- Answering other legal-related questions across the HireRight group companies and providing ad-hoc support to the business as and when required.Qualifications:- Strong academic background with at least 3 years PQE in private practice and in-house roles
