Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

**Position Overview**:
- Control the timely delivery of the components and raw materials used for the production of our products in a timely manner. Ensuring that it is in the right quantity, price and quality with the support of support systems and equipment, such as commodity manager, SQE, product engineering, etc. Maintain close and open communication with the different departments with the aim of giving the best service according to the needs of the business and our customers. Collaborate with the product engineering department in the development of new parts for prototypes and new businesses on the door.**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage existing material inventory levels, this using SAP parameters or minimums, and maximize business security supplies.- Work closely with Customer Service, Production Supervisors, Distribution, Planning, Internal/External Customers, Product Engineering, etc. to ensure that components and raw materials are in time and form.- Assist in the administration of slow movement and obsolete products for analysis and disposition.- Responsible for the correct parameterization in the system of suppliers, components and purchase orders.- Monitors supplier performance in terms of quality and delivery time.- Manage purchase orders in compliance with contractual or corporate terms and conditions.- Determine the level of urgency with suppliers to ensure supply, making limited use of freight with additional costs for the company.- Have direct and effective communication with commodity managers to get the most competitive prices in the industry.- Respect and comply with the Internal Labour and Safety Regulations.- Track invoices blocked for payment, either by discretion in quantity or price, until their resolution and payment to the supplier.- Negotiate the best lot sizes according to business needs. Implement consignment, inventory management, etc. programs according to business needs.- Work with
