Perform reviews of AAM compliance performance, Customs Broker and Service Provider compliance.Review and report trade related costs and identify cost savings opportunities.Responsible for Sarbanes Oxley and Corporate reporting requirements.Maintain special programs and certifications.Communicate with government agencies as required.Develop trade compliance team and ensure proper training and expertise.- Analyze audit results of import and export data and identify process improvements.- Ensure compliance with Customs licenses, special authorizations or permits according to the regulatory requirements.- Review legal reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate submissions are made.- Review current trade compliance procedures and revise as necessary as well as create new procedures when needed.- Analyze KPI's and trade related reporting and identify process improvements.- Lead Business review meetings Customs brokers and service providers and identify cost and process improvements.- Create plans to implement and track cost savings initiatives.- Create and provide trade compliance training for AAM associates.- Leverage internal and external systems to help validate customs compliance information.- All other duties as assigned.**Required Skills and Education**Acorde al perfil**About American Axle & Manufacturing**- As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM (NYSE: AXL) designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
