**About the Job**Onsite Corporate legal counsel (MX) is tasked with analyzing and identifying the local legal risks and implications of all the business's transactions, and labor disputes, keeping the management in all Mexico site departments of the business informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the business.- Draft and review and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.- Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.- Provide counsel across a variety of legal disciplines (employment, corporate, finance, and international) that relate to business, products, or services.- Communicate with and manage external counsel or auditors. Designing and delivering legal training to the business.- Manage local legal team and report the information to the head of the legal division in HQ.**Qualifications**- Must be legally qualified law degree (Licenciado en Derecho) and able to practice law in Mexico.- Licensed to practice law in MX (cedula professional) or ability to obtain an in-house license.- Fluent in both Spanish and English - written and spoken.- 10+ years of legal experience. Manufacturing industry knowledge and in-house experience are a plus.- Strong leadership skills.
