Cost Accountant

**Position Summary**:**The Cost Accountant is responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and validating cost expenditures and reduction initiatives within the plant. Review manufacturing process activities: record and validate data; make recommendations about cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options.**:**Primary Responsibilities**:- ** Standard cost, calculation and analysis**:- ** Inventory control (Annual physical inventory and Cycle counts)**:- ** General accounting**:- ** Fixed asset and depreciation control**:- ** Profitability analysis**:- ** CI/process to drive continuous improvement projects**:- ** Prepare and complete internal and external audits**:- ** Experience on (SAP/ERP) system**:- ** Plant performance leading indicators**:- ** Burden rates preparations**:**Education and Qualifications**:- ** Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; CPA or MBA preferred**:- ** 3+ years of cost accounting work experience (essential)**:- ** Knowledge of SAP**:- ** Knowledgeable on statistics**:- ** Meet key competencies for the job**:- ** Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills**:- ** Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills**:- ** Ability to meet strict deadlines**:- ** Ability to work independently and as part of a team**:- ** Ability to understand the manufacturing process**:- ** Excellent report-writing, communication and IT skills**:- ** Good understanding of costing principles and systems**:**Languages**:- ** Spanish & English**:
