You will be an integral part of the Global Finance Shared Services Team based in India, which offers a comprehensive range of finance support services including Controllership, Business & Operations, Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Credit & Collections, and more.Responsibilities Include :Standard Cost Management : Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard cost models to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost calculations across diverse manufacturing operations.Perform adequate testing and report & analyse results during Actual Costing Implementation projectActual Cost Analysis : Perform detailed analysis of actual costs, investigating discrepancies and variances to provide actionable insights for cost optimization strategies.Variance Analysis : Conduct thorough variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions where needed.Query Resolution & Discrepancy Management : Manage and resolve cost-related queries, variances between Standard & Actual and other discrepancies promptly, ensuring accurate financial reporting.Multi-Plant Coordination : Coordinate with teams across multiple plants to gather data, harmonize cost accounting practices, and streamline reporting processes.Collaboration & Engagement : Work closely with business, commercial, and product managers, providing valuable cost insights and fostering collaborative decision-makingSupport in Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Closing activities.Qualifications :The following are required for the roleQualified Cost Accountant with 4+ years of experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and standard cost management within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in SAP systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
