The Department
Creative Operations, part of Bain's global Marketing organization, supports the efficient functioning of the wider Brand Studio through central project intake and allocation, strong project management, strategic vendor partnerships, and continuous workflow optimizations. Our team facilitate seamless collaboration both within the Brand Studio and with our internal stakeholders to ensure harmonious partnerships and sustained quality outcomes across all work.
The Role
As an Operations Coordinator you are the first point of contact in Creative Operations for client teams and business partners on requests for creative support. In collaboration with leadership, your role is to actively scope and align on expectations for the work with the requester, identify the appropriate resources to perform that work, and then assign the project to initiate creative development and production.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assess, prioritize, and allocate resources for creative requests according to workflow processes
- Track request information in a timely and accurate manner to maintain reliable records
- Coordinate design production requests with external vendors
- Troubleshoot and make suggestions to problem solve workflow processes, systems or technology issues Contribute ideas to continuously improve workflow processes, systems, and technology
- Support other Creative Operations initiatives and team members as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Provide timely responses and routing of incoming work that demonstrates a thorough concern for all involved parties and details, no matter how small
- Balance day-to-day request needs with a high-degree of organizational and interpersonal skills
- Effectively leverage team collaboration tools and champion tool best practices to facilitate clear communications and smooth workflows
- Autonomous and confident in balancing competing demands, making quick decisions, and flagging roadblocks as needed
- Build and maintain a customer-centric, trusting, and collaborative partnership with stakeholders across all service delivery touchpoints
**Requirements**:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools** **(Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
- Familiarity with Smartsheet preferred
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
