That's high tech without the drama.**A bit about us**:**How could you help us do this?**We need a Deal Management colleague to join our AMS team to help us assist and support the Sales teams with ensuring non-standard /low/medium complex quote requests are approved as per the Micro Focus guidelines. On top, you will assist the broader Commercial Operations team members on the high complex quotes | deals and related processes in general.**What kind of work would you be doing?**- Monitor the Dashboard with "pending quote approvals", take ownership and ensure these are being take care of. You will need to review and understand the quote | deal set-up, understand the non-standard elements and submit the quotes for deal-approval to the correct stakeholders as per Approval Matrix; - Advise AMS Sales on what contractual paperwork is needed to be signed before we are able to accept customers order and send it all for booking | correct revenue accounting conform IFRS | SOX | SEC ruling as well as conform Micro Focus internal policies and guidelines; - Be the focal point between customers, business units, sales population, rev rec, legal, regional management, order fulfillment, local financial management, general management for non-standard/low/medium complex deals; - Build and maintain knowledge about Micro Focus and general business policies (approval matrix, IFRS revenue recognition, etc.); - On exceptional basis, assisting with Sales- commission calculations and payments for all departments participating in the sales plan of Micro Focus.**Daily tasks**:- Understand low/medium complex proposals and contracts for software offerings conform Micro Focus guidelines and procedures; - Add low/medium complexclauses (alike pre-stated purchase options, 3rd party usage rights etc.) to standard Micro Focus paperwork; - Take ownership of the full quote approval process for non-standard/low/medium complex deals; - Understand and maintain knowledge about business control processes according to revenue recognition, opportunity management, solution design & delivery including pricing and proposals, as per corporate policies; - Communicate and educate Software sales teams and standard/low/medium complex offerings (including standard contract terms & conditions and pricing); - Facilitate the broaderDeal Operations team on complex deals
