TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.**What your background should look like**:**Responsibilities**:- Must analyze Customer forecast to get a Demand accuracy information- Must analyze and execute MRP to release purchase orders to suppliers and expedite materials to meet STR (Ship to Request)- Partner with Suppliers to meet targeted inventory turns trough small lot size Purchase Orders and more frequent deliveries.- Must negotiate deliveries (expedite, de-expedite and cancellations) with suppliers based on latest demand.- Work with suppliers and Logistics on premium freight charges, identify root causes to manage freight expenditures, and develop solutions- Must analyze Customer backorders/past due to reduce shortage and increase the billings- Must analyze Excess Inventory (FG and in transit) to take actions to reduce it- Partner with CC to coordinate with Logistics Hot Shipments to deliver to Customers.**Qualifications and Experience**:- Bachelor´s degree required, Industrial Engineering or International Business degree preferred- Ability to work under pressure and multi task project/assignments- Analytical, problem solving, and organizational management skills are a plus- Strong attention to detail is desired- Ability to be a team player within Materials management department and within cross functional teams- Effective communication (Oral and written) and presentation skills- One to three years work experience- Negotiation skills a plus- Knowledge of SAP System required- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Excel advanced desired- English 80% Written and spoken**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
