The engineer will be responsible for planning experiments, engine setup and data acquisition, analyzing and interpreting results to guide future tests, and preparing presentations/reports for supervisor, peers and managers. Hands-on aptitude/interest with strong attention to detail and desire/ability to understand test results, calibration changes, and documentation.
You will be expected to conduct projects with a high level of professionalism while meeting and/or exceeding technical and timing expectations within the predefined project budget limits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and support engine Dyno testing
- Solve problems in calibration based on work experience
- Train the team of engineers/technicians in your charge
- Engine calibration under Nissan standards and ensure compliance with internal quality metrics
- Generate daily and monthly operational reports and reports
- Responsible for the management and use of all tools and equipment
- Manage good maintenance, order and cleanliness of work areas.
- Warehouse management and administration of test engines and auto parts
**Education**:
Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical/automotive/electrical engineering.
**Previous work experience**:
3 to 10 years plus experience in powertrain calibration (engine, transmission, hybrid, e-drive, etc.)
Desirable: Team management previous experience (directly reports/ supervisory role)
**Desirable knowledge**:
Knowledge of data acquisition equipment (hardware and software) such as ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, etc.
Calibration tools such as ETAS, MATLAB/Simulink.
**Language**:
English (Advanced)
