Complete mechanical aptitude needed to design, build, ship and service products.Job Responsibilities- Provide general design support for all projects as required using Solidworks and AutoCAD 2/3D- Design equipment to meet internal and customer requirements/specifications and key project milestone dates within the quoted budget and scope- May act as Project Manager on certain projects- Add and update items within Bill of Materials in ERP/MRP system- Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)- Attend and conduct customer design reviews- Assist in compiling documentation- Provide technical assistance to Estimating, Sales, Production and Service, as required- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively in team environment, which may involve Machine (builders), Project Management, Engineering Teams, Management and support functions; - Able to travel as needed- Other job-related duties as assigned**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical is preferred)- 3+ years of mechanical design experience- Very strong mechanical aptitude- Experience with Solidworks is ideal, other CAD platforms will also be considered- Prior experience with lean manufacturing or high volume manufacturing is a plus- Ability to work with automated equipment including controls systems (PLCs)Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Silao, Gto.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
