Inside a global development team, you are responsible for defining and supporting technical rules and solutions.
You will be responsible not only for the technical content but also for business objectives such as budget, quality, performance, and schedule requirements.
You ensure that we define and implement the most uniform and standardized components, providing new balanced engineering solutions in a timely manner while keeping costs to a minimum.
In addition to your role, you will be involved in different R&D projects within the PRM organization and support the power transformer factories all over the world.How You Will Make an ImpactLead subprojects in the development environmentSupport the standardization and modularization programSupport non-standard functional requirements from end-customersSubproject controlling including planning and reportingAnalyze, rate, and estimate user requirements and design solutions in collaboration with partners and the project teamActively collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environmentCoordinate external partners and suppliersHelp improve development methods and processes in a highly skilled development teamDrive key innovation projects and explore new fieldsSupport topics related to technology and innovationManage technical claimsWhat You BringEducation (HTL/FH/TU) in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable areaMid- or long-term experience (3-5 years) in designing mechanical components within a CAD environmentDeep knowledge in mechanical constructionExpertise in material properties and mechanical stiffnessAbility to form sophisticated rulesProfound knowledge in CREO 3D, PDMLink (Windchill), and CADIM (Agile)Knowledge of transformer portfolio, mechanical design processes and rules, and related manufacturing technologiesAbility to work independently and collaborate optimally with team members as well as with various internal and external team membersExperience within international project teamsWillingness to travelWho is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
