This role involves content creation, market research, campaign development, localization, proofreading, optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Additionally, the Editor facilitates communication between copywriters, translators, and other stakeholders.
An understanding of the differences in Chilean Spanish and other Latin American Spanish dialects is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, retargeting projects, and marketing materials.
Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice for each channel.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within relevant markets.
Utilize insights to shape content strategy and messaging in Mexican Spanish and other relevant dialects.
Campaign Development: Work with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Develop and implement promotions, tournaments, and events aimed at targeted markets.
Localization: Oversee the translation and adaptation of content from English to Mexican Spanish and other relevant Spanish dialects.
Ensure cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy, and preservation of the intended message and tone across different Latin American Spanish dialects.
Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards in Mexican Spanish and other relevant dialects.
Provide guidance and feedback to copywriters and external partners to maintain high-quality content.
Optimization: Monitor content performance metrics.
Conduct A/B testing and implement optimization strategies to enhance engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness of content initiatives.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Social Media Marketing (SMM), Retention, external Marketing Agencies, SEO, In-house Design, and Legal departments.
Ensure seamless integration of content across all touchpoints.
Task Management and Communication: Assign tasks to copywriters and translators and ensure timely completion of copies and translations.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between copywriters, translators, and other stakeholders to maintain consistency and quality in multilingual content.
Trend Monitoring: Ensure the team is informed of the latest trends and cultural developments to keep content relevant and engaging.
Qualifications: Proven experience in editing and content management within the iGaming sector.
Native-level proficiency in Mexican Spanish.
Strong understanding of the differences in Chilean Spanish and other Latin American Spanish dialects.
Fluency in English (C1/C2 level).
Ability to adapt writing style to different platforms and audiences.
Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
Strong analytical skills to monitor and optimize content performance.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage tasks and coordinate with translators, copywriters, and other stakeholders.
