.Company Description**Job Description**:**ABOUT THE ROLE**Will be responsible for the plant's EHS sector, as well as serving as a member of the company's EHS team for a larger, more complex and/or high-risk site. Will be responsible for typical daily EHS reports and will report to the Plant Manager, will serve as the technical, compliance specialist for EHS management programs and systems. Implement company EHS programs and develop facility-specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.You can participate in the development of EHS program components: operating procedure, work instructions, training material, standards, etc. Integration for new employees, guiding them to follow work safety standards on a day-to-day basis.**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE****REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES**:- Ongoing development of EHS policies and processes- Support and coordination of global and Corporate EHS initiatives- Incident management: assessing root cause analysis of incidents, developing and monitoring corrective actions- Coaching of Managers, Supervisors, and Employees in ensuring a risk free working environment and effective safety culture- Knowledge and use of management systems, environmental legislation, regulations.- Collect data and report compliance with local and/or state laws.- Assist central administration to ensure that all departments comply with applicable regulations relating to the storage and disposal of industrial waste.- Interface with EHS staff at other company facilities to exchange ideas/information and ensure a consistent, high-quality response to EHS issues.- Coordinate and manage plant-wide waste and energy reduction plans.- Train employees in safety, accident investigation and 5S system audit.- Evaluate and respond to all emergency situations.- Ensuring that team members receive all necessary environmental and safety training on schedule.- Actively involve employees on the importance/or benefits of working under a work safety plan.- Plan and facilitate EHS team meetings.- Maintain and share records and statistics.**Qualifications**:**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU**:- Ongoing development of EHS policies and processes- Support and coordination of global and Corporate EHS initiatives- Incident management: assessing root cause analysis of incidents, developing and monitoring corrective actions- Coaching of Managers, Supervisors, and Employees in ensuring a risk free working environment and effective safety culture- Knowledge and use of management systems, environmental legislation, regulations.- Collect data and report compliance with local and/or state laws.- Assist central administration to ensure that all departments comply with applicable regulations relating to the storage and disposal of industrial waste.- Interface with EHS staff at other company facilities to exchange ideas/information and ensure a consistent, high-quality response to EHS issues
