.**SUMMARY**:The Electrical Engineer II, under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, assumes a pivotal role in the design and development of electro-mechanical products. This position demands a high level of expertise in power electrical equipment, electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and familiarity with UL Standards NEC requirements. The Electrical Engineer II must also excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing innovative electrical solutions, and aligning technical efforts with evolving business needs and market demands.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**:- Comprehensive Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation, including detailed instructions, drawings, and specifications, to facilitate effective communication related to wiring, assembly, testing, modification, maintenance, and usage of devices, parts, and equipment.- Technical Submittals: Collaborate on technical submittals, approvals, concepts, and engineering technical packages, also known as Hand Off Package, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry standards.- Blueprint Interpretation: Skillfully read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports to guide the design process effectively.- CAD Expertise: Utilize CAD design software such as Solidworks/AutoCAD to create intricate 3D models, drawings, and schematics, aligning them with precise customer specifications.- Technical Customer Service: Provide expert technical customer service both internally and externally, resolving complex queries and issues.- BOM Management: Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Item numbers in ERP system(s) according to established processes, including active participation in the implementation of new ERP systems.- Global Collaboration: Occasional travel to the site in Corona, CA, USA, and field locations in Mexico may be required to address engineering-related challenges, fostering international collaboration.- Customer Insights: Gather valuable customer insights, needs, and preferences through personal observations, informal feedback, data analysis, and formal marketing research tools.**QUALIFICATIONS**:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
