We are searching for the best talent for Employee Health & Well-Being Salvarcar Site Leader in Juarez, Mexico.
Our Employee Health and Well-Being organization is dedicated to the total health of our employees. Following our EHW Global Strategy and supported by our policies, programs, and resources, the Employee Health & Well-Being Salvarcar Site Leader, a licensed medical doctor, will bring to life our effective approaches and strategies to serve our employees' health and well-being at the Salvarcar manufacturing site in Juarez.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leader of a high-performing site team while actively contributing to the day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative environment and leading by example.
- Responsible for all operational aspects of the Employee Health & Well-being site staff team (e.g., technical development, career coaching, performance, training, and regulatory compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and by leading and developing a diverse team of occupational health professionals.
- Enable data-driven decision-making through fully implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and innovative health technologies. Develop and improve individual digital skills across the team to support our initiatives and effectively demonstrate our impact on employee health outcomes and Occupational Health strategies.
- This role is responsible for managing the EHW site budget including headcount, expenses, contracts, equipment and other administrative task, as needed.
- Ensure employee protection through appropriate occupational health and primary care programs and promotional strategies in accordance with J&J and Local Regulations and in close partnership with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources (HR), Facilities, and site leadership including the Plant Manager(s).
- Maintains visibility as an Employee Health & Well-Being advocate and spokesperson for the site ensuring ongoing engagement of key stakeholders to reinforce the strategic importance of building Health & Well-Being at J&J as part of our holistic Total Rewards and HR strategies.
- Leads and coordinates the onboarding process for all shift leaders, physicians, nurses, and support staff; identifies individual start dates; ensures comprehensive and proper completion of medical documentation required for new hires.
- Supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Required: Licensed Doctor with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
- 6-8 Years of Work Experience
- 4-6 Years of People Leading Experience
- Occupational Health experience in manufacturing.
- Fluency in Spanish is required, with excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills.
- Intermediate Proficiency in English is required
- Medical License and certifications according to local regulation.
- Experience in guiding Occupational Health related regulations management, including Case Management, Disability Management, Return to Work, STPS (Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social) and SS (Secretaría de Salud) requirements..
- Experience in managing occupational health regulatory and non-regulatory audit processes.
- Experience in Emergency Medical Response and Medical Crisis Management.
Preferred:
- Preferred AED and CPR certification.
- Occupational Health Education diploma, certification, or license according to local regulation.
- Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational effectiveness, including the ability to inspire and develop talent, foster a positive work environment, and implement strategies that enhance team performance and organizational efficiency.
