The Change Coordinator's mission is mainly to ensure the correct implementation of engineering changes to minimize the risk of quality problems with customers during the warranty period, while collaborating with the Manufacturing and Design team to validate that the product meets the specifications.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Coordinate engineering changes according to established and documented procedures.Receipt, analysis, generation, control and validation of engineering changes, including the capture of the date of the change in ORACLE.Document, by first serial number or date, the implementation of each engineering change.Generation, documentation, control and implementation of process deviations in existing and introductory products.Validate the information contained in and derived from engineering changes, providing feedback to those requesting a change and those involved in them, including rejection when applicable.Maintain systematic monitoring of engineering changes.Require and analyze the financial, inventory and manufacturing process impact related to engineering changes.Require the documentation required to implement a deviation to the process.Coordinate ECO follow-up meetings and prepare manufacturing templates.Create a Project file in Sharepoint for ECOs and distribute the ECOs once they are released.Define and monitor the disposition of the affected material (Raw Material, WIP, Sub-assemblies, Bonepile and applicable) by the implementation of the ECOs.Prepare and control the ECO Checklist to verify that all departments have completed their tasks.Send to Approval the departments involved in the implementation.Analyze ECOs with R&D.Audit comparison of BOM in Oracle against the ECO document.Ensure that production orders are manually updated considering the Waivers (Deviations) applied to reflect changes in urgent ECOs.Create, maintain and manage master data for existing products in Oracle, as well as validate the veracity of the master data by carrying out audits of the master data in Oracle periodically.Maintenance of BOMs (Bills of Materials) in Oracle.Skills and Minimum Experience RequiredIndustrial Engineering, Electronics, Systems Administration, Mechatronics or Related.Experience in electronic assembly processes (SMT, AOI, PTH, Wave solder, manual and final assembly).English Advanced Level.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.
