The Ad Formats team mission is to drive advertiser outcomes with creative and performant ads that inspire Pinners to take action. Ad Formats sits at the nexus of Advertiser and Pinner needs and outcomes. A multidisciplinary organization composed of Android, iOS, Web, and Backend engineers, the organization drives revenue for the company via developing new Ad Formats, improving the performance of existing Ad Formats, as well as creating new opportunities to increase ads supply and introduce new sources of ads demand.
As an Engineering Manager for the team, you will help build the team, set and deliver on a vision/roadmap through helping mentor and guide the professional/technical development of team members.
What you'll do: Build and lead a team of mobile and backend engineers. Provide a vision to the team, drive technical excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to prioritize the team's roadmap. Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of the members of the team. What we're looking for: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong preference for candidates with mobile engineering experience Track record of developing high quality software in an automated build and deployment environment Experience leading a team of engineers through a significant feature or product launch in collaboration with Product and Design Previous experience working closely with Product Management and Design cross-functional partners, and an ability to play part of those roles in guiding the priorities and roadmap of the product owned by the team, on top of the usual EM responsibilities. Relocation Statement This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. In-Office Requirement Statement This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per month and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Toronto office (85 Richmond St. W).
