We're looking for passionate person with strong leader potential to build and lead a Service Engineering team in the Americas Competence Hub. This individual should have experience in the Energy industry with rotating equipment experience. This role will include being the point of contact to Service Engineering will provide support to the installed power plant fleet.**How You'll Make an Impact**- Build a team responsible to providing skills and capabilities that support key functions within the Engineering Support organizations for all product lines (gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, auxiliaries)- Work with the ES mgmt. team to hire, onboard and develop the Engineering team to take on key functions & responsibilities required to support the power plant installed fleet.- Be the main point of contact for the Engineering support competence hub.- Manage overall workload & priority of assigned tasks.- Provide training & development that drive self-sufficiency.- Help develop & execute on the strategic workforce planning.- This role will also work with ES mgmt. to support employee development, group workload & priorities along with training plans.- Leadership presence to the local team and overall competence hub- Collaborate with local & regional management to ensure prompt customer support is provided.- Expected travel is approx. 25%**What You **Bring**- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field with at least 10 years of professional experience, Master's degree preferred.- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership position; experience in the energy industry is preferred.- Motivate, lead, and empower a global team to deliver the best results and drive change in the business.- Experience with external customers and excellent understanding of customer needs- Competence in strategic thinking, strong business acumen and a focus on excellent execution- Operational mindset with a hands-on mentality- Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken English.- Knowledge of second language considered an asset (Spanish, Portuguese or other)- Domestic and international travel is required, approximately 25%.**About the Team**Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
