Be part of something bigger with Chromalloy.Video: What We DoJob Responsibilities:Responsible for rewriting technical documentation to aggregate technical data to a consistent location within all documents.Working within legacy ERP and document management systems to ensure data is clearly described and written at a level for operators to comprehend.Assemble master list of operations.Create approved data to work scope matrix.Create part numbers to work scope matrix.Create work instructions for each operation.Standardize work instructions across part families.Identify equipment capability per operation.Create Bill of Materials.Create part number and repair code park marking instructions.Populate Epicor data by operation.Assemble Rework work scopes.Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to consistently develop standardized documentation.Prepare accurate written technical reports, specifications, procedures and manuals.Prepare and deliver presentations of work to all levels of external and internal customers.Train less experienced technical staff.Work in a lab and field environments.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience as a mid-level member of a technical team supporting the development of technical documentation.Proven ability to work within Epicor and other ERP systems.Proven ability to develop manufacturing process documents that comply with regulatory requirements.Typically 2 to 4 years' experience in writing Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine engine engineering documentation.Typical Education:Technology degree or equivalent.Skills/Knowledge/Proficiencies:Familiar with technical language and manufacturing methodologies.Understanding of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages, etc.General interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, CI and 6 sigma methodology.Working knowledge of quality systems and documentation management.Thoughtful and effective communication skills.Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.Proficiency in Epicor, Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
