RIGHT NOW.**Title**: Environmental Professional, Advanced**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila IJD Loaders**Function**: Environment / Health / Safety**Main Responsibilities**:Primary person responsible for implementing effective environmental programs and assuring compliance in a small or medium unit or management of one or more environmental programs in a large or very large unit under the direction of a more senior environmental professional. Assists a more senior environmental professional in development of programs in order to comply with regulatory and Company standards. As appropriate, interacts with external agencies as the agent of the unit in both a strategic and tactical role. (Example of a small/lesser complex process would be a weld, assembly or a simple paint system with no waste treatment. Span of influence is small, but has sole responsibility for a single function in a less complex unit).**Major Duties**:- Develops recommendations for environmental processes/programs to meet the John Deere Environmental Management System Standard and comply with applicable laws and regulations that include design and evaluation components to monitor effectiveness.- Compiles necessary data, documentation and correspondence to comply with environmental regulations and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.- Coordinates and conducts environmental audits to identify noncompliance with the John Deere Environmental Management Systems(EMS) and applicable laws and regulations.- Oversees implementation of assigned programs by factory personnel.
