Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for an un-Equipment Maintenance Automation Engineer located in Tijuana.
Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Engineer, the responsible person repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment.
What a typical day looks like:
- Through troubleshooting, identifies the machine malfunction and isolates the failure mechanism.
- Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
- Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
- Performs equipment calibrations and requalification's at specified intervals and according to specified schedules.
- Assists process technicians and engineers in the installation and removal of process equipment.
- Analyzes and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
- Manages corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Provides information on daily equipment operating activity.
- Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances components and circuits.
- Develops formulas to solve measurement and calibration problems.
- Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
- Prepares reports for direct delivery to the customer.
- Direct contact with the customer.
Experience we are looking for to join our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the electronics industry.
- PLC programming skills.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge in radiofrequency machines, ultrasound.
- Handling in automation of robots.
- Knowledge in HMI programming.
- Intermediate English.
