**Who are we?**:
**In one sentence**:
Responsible for providing support to production at L2/L3 level for global customer Data warehouse system. L2/L3 activities would typically involve debugging, modification and/or maintenance of Data warehouse system code base development process.
**What will your job look like?**:
- Investigate issues in production as issues get assigned for L2LT3 support. Issues come from other Teams like Operations, L1, Business and End Users. Issues vary from Job failures to data issues, requests from customer and performance issues
- Support and maintain existing production code base and provide production fixes and testing support including performance related fixes
- Maintain and create Informatica, Linux, Teradata and Oracle code artifacts
- Perform Unit testing, support ST, support code deployed to production
- Communicate with customer, both IT and Business
- Have availability to work in on call mode for weekends and later hours support when critical production issues arise. On call Roster is shared in advance
**All you need is...**:
- Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
- 7-8 years' experience as a software engineer or a software developer/ETL developer
- Experience working in Data warehouse environment and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD)
- 5+ years of experience working on Linux/Unix with shell scripting knowledge
- Database knowledge of Oracle/Snowflake with very Strong SQL skills
- Informatica PowerCenter hands-on experience
- Excellent Teradata knowledge (BTEQ, FLOAD, MLOAD, TPT, FastExport)
- Excellent communication skills and Team player
Nice to have
- Experience in working in cloud environment like Azure
- Prior experience or exposure to any Scheduler like TWS (Tivoli Work Scheduler)
- Programming experience with any language
- Azure, Snowflake certifications are a plus.
