Join us.**Job Purpose**:Lead and manage projects using Lean CPS tools and methodologies oriented to improve inventory effectiveness and material availability. Coach, teach and develop others to use the tools and methodologies of CPS. Demonstrate leadership in recognizing the potential for cost and inventory reductions, and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.**Job Duties**:Major Role: - Lead Lean CPS projects and 6 Sigma Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIW) in the Order to deliver.Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will be accountable for implementing the improvements in the value chain.Strategy - Through a strong knowledge of the product, NPI, and Logistics Strategies the incumbent will support and lead projects/initiatives to fully satisfying facilities expectations. Collaborate with supply chain in helping to understand, monitor and improve inventory.This position has significant impact on the success of the facility success. CPS will help make Caterpillar a safer place to work, improve the company's ability to meet customer expectations, improve quality, reduce cycle times, reduce cost and increase profits.Must be a results oriented change agent who is proficient in the use of CPS tools and methodologies.
