Description: Job Summary:
An Entry Level FS Engineer in our team will be responsible to learn the corresponding services in areas such as computer OS images, BIOS, Diagnostics, PC Hardware, New Product Introduction, and Software Development. The role involves learning and applying the team's best practices while collaborating with more experienced engineers. The successful engineer has a foundational knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and basic programming skills.
Responsibilities:
• Executes installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Develops and maintains software components, modules, or applications using appropriate programming languages and technologies.
• Integrates software systems with existing infrastructure, databases, APIs, and third-party services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
• Provides support services through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low-complexity projects.
Education & Experience Recommended:
• Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming language, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE)
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
