**JOB PURPOSE**:
This quality role works closely with internal and external process partners to support day-to-day administration of global Failed Parts Return Process (FPRP) operations, ensure worldwide Send It Back (SIB) system availability and functionality, and fostering a Lean culture focused on capability building and driving continuous process and system improvement.
**JOB DUTIES**:
This position's primary responsibility is fostering a Lean Defect Free culture focused on capability building and driving continuous process/system improvement to ensure success of internal/external process partners.
This position collaborates with FPRP/SIB Level 1 Support to address daily internal and external process partner questions and requests for assistance, and partners with the main SIB IT Support team and other related IT support teams to ensure worldwide system availability.
Beyond the critically important day-to-day administration of global FPRP operations, this position has responsibility for supporting and driving system improvements.
Specifically, this position will manage the FPRP/SIB Voice of the Customer (VOC) Program to actively collect internal/external process partner feedback used to update the FPRP/SIB Multi-Generational Process Plan (MGPP) and identify areas of focus for yearly goals and action planning.
In addition, this position monitors quality and velocity-related key process indicators (KPIs) within the FPRP/SIB visual management system to identify process/system improvement opportunities.
This position will interact with multiple internal and external process partners that provide services necessary for the effective/efficient execution of the FPRP and participate in operations reviews with these internal process partners to ensure process/system improvements are identified, properly documented, and progressing according to project plans established for Lean problem-solving initiatives.
This position will develop Requirements Documents for system enhancements, complete testing of fixes and enhancements, and ensure communications are sent to users in advance of the implementation of fixes and enhancements.
This position will also have responsibility for ad hoc FPRP-related assignments such as supporting internal process partner expanded offerings and services growth, and Global Quality-related initiatives.
**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:

- University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related discipline.
- Thorough understanding of the Failed Parts Return Process (FPRP) and FPRP operations knowledge/experience.
- Subject matter expertise in transportation-related processes/standard work supporting the FPRP.
- Prior customer service experience: experience collaborating with personnel from dealers, systems support groups and transportation operations, procurement and vendors is highly desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of process partners to drive process/systems improvement; multi-lingual capability is highly desired.
- Fundamental knowledge of Lean principles and in particular, Lean problem solving; demonstrated experience using Lean problem solving is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with mínimal direction needed to effectively lead/facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Fluent English
