Arvima is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to work internationally on a call off - contractor basis for international engineering companies.We specialize in providing top-notch service, maintenance, retrofits, and training for cutting-edge machines. With a diverse customer base, this role will require frequent international travel, allowing you to showcase your technical expertise and represent Arvima to our valued clients.**Responsibilities**:- Conduct preventive maintenance work to optimize equipment performance.- Install new retrofits to enhance the capabilities of existing machines.- Independently diagnose and resolve technical issues faced by customers.- Recommend customized maintenance plans, parts, or adjustments to improve customer satisfaction.- Occasionally collaborate with engineering teams and international customer services to install automated equipment in various locations.- Perform equipment tests to ensure proper functionality.- Provide comprehensive training to customers on equipment operation.- Maintain a proactive approach to service by scheduling and executing necessary maintenance tasks on the equipment.**Qualifications**:- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Software experience is considered an asset.- Technical training in industrial automation.- A self-driven and flexible personality, with a keen analytical mindset.- Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.- A passion for travel and the ability to work effectively at customer sites.
