Job Overview**As FTS Engineer, you will be responsible for to provide field engineering support at the regional level at customer's plants. This includes support for testing new products, customer equipment troubleshooting (related to films or machines), and support for solving quality problems through intervention or equipment adjustment recommendations. The position is also the point of contact with machine suppliers, working with them to ensure a close bond with Amcor as an opportunity to gain new business with existing or new customers.This role will span over the term listed below and will be critical in delivering a significant growth for Amcor Flexibles Latin America (AFLA)**2. Principal Accountabilities****Key Responsibilities****Support for field services (new business)**- Ensure the development of new businesses for Amcor through on-site support for customers.- Actively support customer packaging tests from first attempts to industrial qualifications.- Solve problems related to packaging material / machine / product interactions.- Provide assistance to R&D and sales by obtaining the key information needed from the client to support the process of developing new products.- Take responsibility for communicating the results of all activities and monitoring the actions in Amcor and with customers.**Support to field services (quality)**- Provide support to AFLA plants and customers by helping them quickly solve quality problems at customer plants and eliminate / reduce losses.- Interact with customers on-site to solve quality problems by making recommendations related to machine processes or other changes (both from the client side and from Amcor).**Serve as a link with packaging machine suppliers**- Interact with machine suppliers.- Inform them about Amcor's product offer.- Keep key suppliers supplied with material samples.- Pre-validate Amcor products.- Cultivate the relationship in such a way that Amcor benefits from new business opportunities.- Stay updated on the latest developments in terms of machine technology.**Manage tests in Amcor materials laboratories**- Run tests on laboratory equipment in support of product development initiatives.- Develop operation windows for Amcor materials and publish information for presentation to customers.**4
