**Job Description**:
**The Role**
Come join our growing Finance team as we establish our newest Centre of Excellence (CENX) in Mexico. The Finance Team already has an established CENX in both Mumbai and Bucharest and with the importance of the Americas to YouGov's growth, we are now excited to create a new team in Mexico.
You will be responsible for setting up the Mexico City based Finance Shared Service function within the Group Finance department. You will drive an effective and cost-efficient function while upholding robust controls and continuous process improvements. The role reports to the Head of Finance Shared Services based in London, UK.
**What will I be delivering?**
- The leader on the ground of the Shared Service Centre in Mexico City. Direct management of the team which covers order to cash, revenue recognition, record to report, procure to pay and payroll.
- Supporting business strategy and values and to optimise efficiency and productivity of the organisation.
- Our Finance Shared Services function has transitioned activities from regional finance teams across the globe to create the Shared Service Centre (including recruitment and training). The opportunity for the next stage is to standardize and improve.
- Initial focus of this role will be the record to report process and will require involvement in the transactional detail of month end and also to analyze, identify and implement improvements to reporting and processes
- Building and owning the reputation of the Finance Shared Service Centre with stakeholders across YouGov.
- Partner with the Financial Controller of the Americas (based in Redwood, CA, USA)
- Lead change projects across the Finance department
- Successfully implement and maintain financial accounting controls and processes and drive best practice through continuous improvement.

**Demonstrated knowledge and experience**
- At least 3 years of experience in leading a finance shared service teams, with demonstrated managerial capability and strong stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of business processes with the ability to optimise business functions through focused improvement initiatives.
- Experience of reporting under IFRS and ensuring revenue in bundled service contrac
