Eaton's ES AMER PCS ICD division is currently seeking a Financial Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
This position is directly responsible of updating and maintaining monthly closing activities (MAPICS, ORACLE, VISTA, ENCORE, SAP) systems. Elaborate all the necessary entries during the month and at the month end for closing purposes related to this position. Supporting of Profit plan and Forecast processes. Perform the lead role for fixed asset accounting, capital account payables, and accounts receivables. Prepare daily sales report & margins. In addition, this position should be allocated to perform analysis and reports to support directly the Controller. (i.e, Inventory, MPV, MUV, Fixed & variable cost analysis, budget maintenance, Cost of non-conformance, etc.). Reports to Accounting Mgr.
ESSENCIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Performs monthly closing process and provides required analysis and bridges.
2. Performs analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet and miscellaneous P&L accounts on a monthly basis. Reviews and resolves variances.
3. Support profit plan and forecast process.
4. Champions fixed asset accounting and capital spending forecasting for the plant.
5. Provides required financial reporting and analysis to budget owners and assists them in meeting profitability commitments.
6. Performs Mix Margin analysis by prod line, Customer, part number.
7. Insures compliance with SOX requirements and performs annual design self-assessment.
8. Performs Adhoc financial analyses. (Flex productivity, Labor productivity, etc)
9. Performs BOM Audits to ensure routings accuracy.
10. Recommends, develops, and implements department process improvements.
11. Fixed asset accounting
12. Capital Account Payable and account receivable.
13. Support on Annual physical inventory organization and cycle counts.
14. Prepare and Analyze Nonconformance (CONC) report.
15. Provide guidance and support to all functional areas as needed.
16. Provide guidance and support to SCM on AP activities, such as release invoices on hold, vendors issues and account payable activities.
17. Perform freight expenses analysis throughout Intelligent audit tool and developing corresponding accrual.
18. Support other activities requested by Accounting Manager and/or Controller.
**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Three years of work experience in Finance or Accounting function
Preferences:
- Previous experience in systems including Oracle Financials and ENCORE
- Two or three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or two years of experience performing cost accounting/financial analysis
